A recent Energrow Open House held in New York this month showcases just how easy it is to use and integrate the Energrow System on your farm. Beans are augered from an existing mix mill to a small hopper bin, which feeds soybeans to the press on demand. The system is shared and moved between two dairy farms. Scours are responsible for amost 61% of calf dealths according to the NAHMS study done several years ago. Calf scours or diarrhea is not really a disease but rather the clinical sigh of a disease that can have many causes. Bacteria, viruses, protozoa, nutrition, or environmental stresses can all cause calf scours. |

Biodiesel farm equipment study finds no problems |

In the Off-Road Biodiesel Demonstration - Agriculture Sector, conducted by the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) from August 2009 to November 2010, farmers using biodiesel blends in agricultural equipment ranging in age from 1965 to 2009 had no biodiesel-related equipment problems. The study found that canola-based biodiesel blends perform well through all seasons, even when left in tanks over winter. During the study period, temperatures ranged from -36°C to 31°C.

Economic Research Service (ERS) reports: Examines supply, use, prices, and trade for oil crops (primarily soybeans and products), including supply and demand prospects in major importing and exporting countries. Includes information on cottonseed, peanuts, sunflowerseed, tropical oils, corn oil, and animal fats.
